| Tips for enjoying our pizza at home (see our FAQ): | |
| 1. | Preheat the oven to 475° with a pizza stone inside (bottom shelf). If you don't have one, a cookie sheet will do nicely. A toaster oven will also work. |
| 2. | Once the oven is nice and hot (15-20 minutes is best), put a slice or two on the stone or cookie sheet for a minute or two.
Any
moisture that has built up on the crust will evaporate and the slice will get nice
and crispy. This is very important for veggie pizzas or combo pizzas like the "Times Square" or "The City." |
| 3. | DO NOT MICROWAVE...you will zap the life right out of the pizza, making it soggy, then hard. |

Our loyal customer, Stephen, honored us by adding us to his family's "Journey Marker" rope. It lists all of his family's favorite places, relatives, trips, etc. We were added to his collection last year and we will do our very best
to earn that distinction every day! Thank you Stephen....we won't let you down! |
We continue to collect donations for the two hit-and-run (fatalities) victims' families. If you would like to donate anything at all, please stop by the shop and let us know. We have already raised over $2,000 thanks to the local businesses, neighbors, and customers. Your generosity is wonderful. The Santa Clara Weekly, the San Jose Mercury News, and the San Jose Resident wrote articles on the process. Please consider giving a little something.
Thank you....Kirk and the A Slice of New York team. |

The right pizza on the left coast...SM
The biggest thank you goes to my neighborhood pizza joint in Manhattan, Ultimate Pizza. I grew up
with these guys. Without them, this never would have happened. They opened up their kitchen,
their crew, and their kindness to me so that we could make all this happen. All they wanted in return
is for me to be successful...true selfless NYC attitude.

A special thank you to Tony Gemignani of Pyzano's Pizzeria and now Tony's Pizza Napoletana,
a school and first class restaurant. As an expert in the business and
now a friend, we thank you.
How about that four minute dough mix!!!
Please support the World Trade Center Building Memorial Foundation. We have a goal
of five cobble stones, each at $500, for a goal of $2,500. We started the campaign by
donating one cobble stone. Please donate whatever you can to help get this done.
Thank you. Click here to go to the page. This link is broken and we have an email in to find out
what is wrong. Thanks for being patient.

Effective April 1, 2009, sales tax is increasing by 1%. Since all our prices include sales tax, we will be
imposing a temporary 50 cent surcharge on all small and large whole pies. When the sales tax increase
is over, we will remove the surcharge. Please vote against Proposition 1A - Budget Stabilization Act.
